Ion, Leah, Hans, and Lorraine were a small but mighty team running a coloring book brand. When Profound Commerce (founded by Matt Howitt and Nirav Bhagat) acquired the brand, they kept the crew onboard, planting the seed for something bigger.
2019
With Matt and Nirav’s support, Ion formalized the operation. Numi Global launched to support Profound’s growth and create long-term careers for the team. Our nimble operators became a legit business.
2020
Aside from Profound Commerce, Numi took on two friendly clients. A confident step into outsourced staffing.
2021
Numi operated 15 Profound brands with a 50+ person team across product, Marketing, analytics, ops/logistics, customer service, and finance. We scaled, refined systems, and built playbooks—proving we could operate
at scale without losing our heart.
2022
We held steady and planned our next chapter, sharpening our focus for bigger opportunities.
2023
Profound Commerce, Numi's biggest client then, joined The Ambr Group. We embraced change, launched business development in Q4, and set the stage for wider partnerships.
